The 2 Hours Endurance Race 2007

Sponsored by GT&T's Cell Link Plus and Auto Fashion

Errol Tenpow and Shairaz Roshandin won the 2 hours Endurance race driving the Fullworks Sponsored 4AGE Toyota Corolla. Second place went to Brian and Jimmy Tenpow in a Mitsubishi Evo7. The battle for the checkered flag between Errol Tenpow and Brian Tenpow came down to the very last lap and in fact the very last 3 corners.

Brian Tenpow in the Evo passed the last lap board slightly ahead of older brother Errol Tenpow who was chasing in the Fullworks Corolla, the crowd waited anxiously as the 2 cars disappeared from view and reappeared with Errol in the lead and crossing the finish line leaving race fans wondering what had happened in the lap few corners.

Twenty five cars took to the start line in this amazing two hours event. Drivers raced across the track to their cars in a Lemons style start and it was action from the get go. It was nothing short of amazing to see so many cars flying past the Clubhouse at speeds exceeding one hundred miles per hour at times. This Endurance meet brought back memories of motor racing meetings of the early 70 when the large circuit was still being used.

For those who have never experienced what it was like to see cars screaming past the Clubhouse at these incredible speeds, then this Endurance event will be something that they will be remember forever. Hats off to you 50 Daredevils who blistered the track last Sunday and in doing so gave race fans an incredibly wonderful day of motor racing that will be talked about for a long time to come.
