The Rookies

The Rookie division will see a lot of it's more seasoned members heading off to race in GP 2A and GP2B thus leaving the class wide open. This means that new drivers coming into the sport will pretty much go up against drivers like themselves. This was the original intention when this class first started. Ryan Gayadin is now in GP2B, Chet Singh, Shivo Seebarran and Raymond Ali have already moved up to GB2A. The latest Rookie to move up in class is Syed Hassan, he will now be competing in the GP2A class. A number of other rookie drivers are expected to move out of this class to make way for a new batch of first time entrants all with dreams of that checkered flag waving in their hands. Don't be surprised to see a number of other drivers being booted out of this division come July 8th.

Group 2A Division

Group 2A has always been a division where the action is always super hot. This clash of 2A daredevils will be no different. Chet Singh walked away with the Champion driver title at the last meet held in February of this very year and he plans to move the notch up a few more clicks to further stoamp his authority in the extremely competitive group. Chet will indeed have to pull out all of the stops to hold off former GP3 speed ace Jad Rahaman who is rumored to be seriously upgrading his JR Burger sponsored Ford Escort. Shairaz Roshandin will also be hot on the heels of Singh in his FullWorks sponsored Corolla and has already pulled off a surprising win only to find out that his machine was under the weight limit for the class. Shiaraz has been fine tuning his driving skills with trips to Jamaica and Barbados over the last few weeks. He has picked solid reviews for his driving skills at both meets and plans to use this extensive experience to his advantage come July 8th. Cousins but full time rivals on the racetrack,  Vishaul Sawh and Shivo Seebarran will both be piloting  Toyota EP71 Starlets on July 8th. Shivo however has recently fitted a 4AGE engine in his Ray's Auto Spares Starlet while Vishaul will be running his highly tuned Auto Toy Store 2E Turbo Charged power plant. Don't for a minute leave out Dwayne Rodrigues of Team USA, he has held the checkered flag before and plans to give his rivals a repeat performance come July 8th. Audie Singh has been on a "high performance parts shopping spree" for the new car that he is presently working on, keep your eyes on the Dyna's Embroidery Toyota come race day.

Group 2B Fast Division

It seems that GP2B will be super hot division once more. Kemal Rahaman stunned his opponents earlier this year when he won two of his three events which earned him the GP2B Champion Driver title. Ryan Rahaman who is in fact the 2006 overall Champion will have to pull all of the stops to retake the lead in 2007 championship points chase. This extremely competitive division boast of such talents as speed aces Kamal Seebaran, Vishok Persaud, Keith Evelyn, former rookie champ Ryan Gayadin, Jeremy Pompey, US based Kawall Deosarran, John Joseph, Jag Singh and others. Rupie "Showtime" Shewjattan is on the hunt for the GP2B Championship in his AutoFashion Starlet and will allow no one or nothing to stand in his way. These daredevils are all gearing up to stamp their authority in this extremely competitive division but we all know that only one checkered flag is allotted per race so it's going to be nothing but pure unadulterated warfare when the start flag in lowered on July 8th 2007.

Group 3 Super fast Division

All eyes will be on the prestigious group three division as the feud between Mark Vieira and Andrew Kin heats up once more. Andrew King driving the tube frame Mazda RX7 of Patrick Tong will carry the war to the the defending GP3 Champ Mark Vieira . Be on the look out for the ever improving  Andrew Morgan, his Mazda has a spanking new engine built by local Rotary tuning wiz-kid Justin. Mark Vieira will have to pull out all of the stops to stay on top of this super fast 300 plus BHP action. Kem Lall and Shawn King are the underdogs in this division but cannot be ruled out by any means. Jeremy Pompey and Vishok Persaud have added their names to the GP3 lineup, both drivers normally compete in the GP2B division but now they will be playing with the big boys. Look out for other 2 fast drivers on the GP3 grid on the 8th, now this is what motor racing is all about.

Go-Karts 125cc Shifters

War is brewing in the shifter go-kart division, Shane Ally came out of nowhere the last international meet and shocked Stanley Ming, Kristian Jeffery and the British ace Robert Hiscock. With Juliana not around to spoil his fun, Shane plans to rule the roost totally this time around with his KT powered Beril 125 shifter. Young Stefan Jeffery proved that he is not to be taken lightly when he drove away with the checkered flag at the last national meet in February of this year. Jerry Max Goveia, Dylan Fields and Jeremy Pompey have all upgraded their equipment and plans to shock the field this time around. Former GP3 driver Kevin Jeffery and his son Kristian will be combining their forces and plans to make it one two for Team Jeffery. Veteran Stanley Ming who is still as fast through the corners of South Dakota as the day he made his debut back in 1973 is planning to make it three in a row leaving Hiscock and others to fight for second place.

Open Division Motorcycles

Undisputed open division Champ Steven Vieira rode away with three checkered flag earlier this year, leaving arch rival Gregory Lopes to settle for three second places on the podium. Lopes hopes to turn the table on the Champ this time around as he has been putting in the final touches to his R1 machine in order for his plans to bear fruit. The local motorcycle daredevils will be using this national meet to tune up for the expected invasion come November when a huge contingent of overseas riders are expected to invade the South Dakota Circuit. Look out for Carlos Rodrigues on his Yamaha R6, this lad simply does not know how to back off his throttle. Veteran of this division Ginger Ranjattan has a few tricks up his riding sleeves and is planning to show the youngsters a thing or two come July 8th. Ravi Singh has shown a lot of potential after moving up from the 125cc class, he will be piloting his Suzuki 750 and hopes to step onto the podium a number of times come July 8th. Joel Niblett has quietly been focusing his thoughts on becoming the undisputed king of motorcycles for the South Dakota Circuit, keep your eyes on bike #100 for the surprise that Joel has in store for his rivals.
