Time Trials held at the South Dakota Circuit.
Andrew
King qualified on pole and in doing so shattered the South Dakota small
circuit lap record with a new lap record time of 35.078 seconds. From
1972 to now, the dream of breaking the lap record set by Jim Fuller in a
Brabham BT38 in full F2 specs has always been elusive, that is until
now. It took some 33 years to do, how long this new record will stand is
anyone's guess.

Vishok Persaud 38.976, Kevin Jeffery encountered engine problems and did
not qualify
