Andrew King is the new Group 3 Champion with
one win, a second and a third place. King
now leads the points standing in the
rejuvenated Caribbean Championship. He is
also one million Guyana dollars richer
thanks to Skyline Mortgage who donated the
prize money. Gerald Carrinton of Trinidad
and Mark Vieira of Guyana both chalked up
one victory each. David Summerbell of
Jamaica winning ways came to an abrupt halt
today on the South Dakota Circuit after
being lapped twice by Mark Vieira.
Kevin Graham chalked up three victories in
the 600cc bike class, Craig Atkinson was
second in all three of the 600cc events as
was Gregory Lopes who placed third in all
three races as well. Canadian female
driving sensation Juliana Chiovitti is the new Shifter 125cc
Go-Kart Champion of Guyana with two
outstanding victories. Kristian Jeffery won
the first of the 125cc shifter clashes.
Andy Rajkarran won all two of the 125cc
motorcycle clashes with Steven Vieira
placing second in all two events. Vassy
Barry and Ravi Singh picked a third place
each.
Ryan Rahaman walked away with two victories
in Group 2B while
Trinidad's newest racing sensation Christian
Bourne out on the second race meet of his
very short racing career walked away with
a first place victory and one second place
finish in group 2B. Bourne actually only started
racing in Trinidad a few weeks ago and
already is a force to be reckoned with. We
predicted that he was going to surprise a
few drivers, didn't we? Ryan Rahaman was
declared the GP2B Champion driver.
Jad Rahaman who was recently crowned the
GP-2B 2006 Champion of Barbados after an
extensive tour of the Bushy Park Raceway
Barbados, won the first of the 2A races,
other winners in group 2A were Chet Singh of
Guyana and Dwayne Rodrigues of Team USA.
Chet Singh was declared the GP2A Champion
driver for the October 29th Skyline
International Race of Champions.
At the presentation ceremony held at the
Georgetown Club on Monday night, Ryan Rahaman and Ryan Gayadin were declared

Gavin Naraine memorial lean trophy for group
2B. Andy Rajkaran picked up the 125cc
motorcycle Champion rider trophy as well as
the most improved rider award. Gerald
Carrinton of Trinidad who is a regular
competitor at the South Dakota Circuit was
awarded the most improved driver and Shane
Ally copped the most improved Karter award.
