Countdown to the November 2nd International Race of Champions

Scenes from South Dakota taken Thursday October 30th 2008

South Dakota today was hot hot today, most of the big guns were out playing mind games. Doug Maloney was out with his super quick Audi Quatro looking fast, really fast and firing shots like a true AK, the Eye of the Tiger was on the ball today, impressing everyone around. Stuart Maloney was ripping quick, that Evo is going to be trouble, that car is really quick.

Andrew King was mapping his fuel system, you just know that he is going to be a force to reckon with. Kevin Jeffrey sounded a bit spluttery, missing, not cleaning out, guys left the track to do more work on the fuel system.

Chris Campbell was out looking really quick and confident, its hard to believe that this young fella only stared racing a short while ago. Doug "Hollywood" Gore was out, looked good as did  Guy Fraser driving Gary Williams's Evo. Stuart Williams was out putting in a few laps, did not see him really putting his foot down as yet.

Natasha Farnum did some driving today, getting accustomed to the car and liking it, will be back up on the track tomorrow to do some more driving.

Mark Vieira did not make it up today, his American mechanic and builder of the Nightmare Mr Pettitt racing himself came in last night and the guys thought it best to do some checks, they will be at the track early in the morning. I took Natasha and her dad around to see Mark's Mazda when we came down from the track, they were left almost speechless when they saw how amazing that car is.
