 .Canada's
female racing sensation Juliana Chiovitti is in Guyana and has
already started testing her 125 Shifter Kart.
Juliana will be spearheading the Canadian challenge in the 125cc
Shifter Karts division. Twenty one year old Juliana is most
definitely into racing. Her record in Canadian karting is
impressive, as her achievements include seven Grand National titles
from the Ontario Kart Racing Association, three World Karting
Association Grand National crowns, one WKA National championship,
and was last year's SKUSA Atlantic Zone ProMoto Tour Formula S2
champion. She also finished second in the S2 race at the Palace
Station SuperNationals.

Team Barbados

Barbados
Update:
As of 9.08PM Tuesday October 24th, Mark Malloney's Mazda RX3 is
still in Barbados. There was some speculation earlier this week
that the car would be transported to Guyana on a special cargo
plane but this seem to be wishful thinking at this point.
Information reaching this website indicates that Mark Malloney
flew out of Barbados on a business trip yesterday and it is
unlikely that he will be part of this October 29th race meet.
Was this because of nerves, fear? Maybe it's because of our
"War" theme song? Any which way, this smells of chicken feed to
me (-:

We know for
certain that
Team Barbados will be represented by Kenrick Husbands and Shawn
Boxhill both of whom will be driving 4AGE powered rear wheel
drive Toyota Starlets in group 2A. The cars of Husbands and
Boxhill were shipped a few days ago and will arrive in Guyana on
Wednesday October 25th. More info as we get it.

Team Canada
 |
|
Team Canada's assault on South Dakota will be spearheaded by Patrick
Tong's tube framed Mazda RX7. The Mazda was packed 2 days ago (Oct 3rd)
and sent off to the shippers to make it's way to Guyana. Sean Tenpow
will no longer drive Tong's Mazda as was originally stated thus raising
the interesting question on whether Andrew King will be the man behind the
wheel of this monster Mazda (-: Six 600cc motorcycles were also packed
in the container. Shawn King whose tube framed Mazda RX7 is already in
Guyana will be part of Team Canada.
Juliana Chiovitti
& Michael Bettencourt will be
representing Team Canada in the 125cc Shifter Kart division. Canadian
based Guyanese Carl Goveia will be returning to South Dakota to compete
in the 125cc motorcycle events. Goveia is a former South Dakota
125cc Champion.
Former Canadian Superbike Champion Kevin Graham will be leading a six member team of 600cc motorcycles to blaze the
South Dakota Circuit on October 29th 2006. The other 5 Canadian riders
taking part in the October 29th Skyline International Race meeting are
Krishna Henschke, Craig Atkinson, Rahul Dua, Geneviève Lesieur,
Catherine Nadeau. The Canadians have shown a keen interest in racing in
the 125cc division as well.

team of Steve & Deborah DeNobrega will also be part of Team USA, Steve
will be piloting his Toyota Corolla while Deborah will be driving
Compton London's Honda Civic, both will be competing in the faster group
2B division. This husband and wife clash will be worth seeing, I'm
betting on Deborah (-:
Skyline's Kawall Deosarran has added his name
to the impressive Team USA lineup, Deosarran will be making his South
Dakota debut in a Lotus Excige in the extremely competitive GP2B
category
